An independent lab that works as an extension of your practice.

Main Line Dental Lab is an independent, high-end aesthetic laboratory. You lead every case, and we work alongside you as a partner you can trust. Our centralized lab connects each practice to its master craftsmen through a shared digital workflow, so communication stays close and every case follows your treatment plan from the first scan to the final restoration.

Scanning, CAD/CAM, milling and 3D printing are common across dentistry today. What sets our lab apart is how we connect those tools to your clinical process, and the master craftsmen who bring your plan to life.

The hybrid model

Exact by design. Shaped by hand.

Our lab joins two disciplines in one workflow. Technology handles fit, margins and dimension with consistent accuracy. Our craftsmen take over where the eye and hand matter most, bringing your plan to life with the qualities patients notice in the mirror. Machines build the foundation, and our craftsmen create the final character.

In our lab

Engineered in Italy, finished by hand.

Our restorations are milled on a Zirkonzahn system, built in South Tyrol, Italy, and chosen by leading dental laboratories around the world.

It shapes zirconia, glass ceramics and other materials with fine detail and an exact fit, giving our craftsmen a strong foundation to finish by hand. We’re proud to be the only lab in our area with this equipment.

The usual path

  1. Patient
  2. Dentist

  4. Outside commercial lab
  5. A restoration returned later

The Main Line Path

  1. Patient
  2. Dentist
  3. Your master craftsman
  4. Shared review and shade mapping
  5. A hand-finished restoration you approved

The difference lives in the quality between your practice and our craftsmen.

  1. 01

    Share the case

Send digital scans, clinical photos and case notes straight to the lab.

  2. 02

    Matched to a craftsman

We match each case to the master craftsman whose strengths suit it, and that craftsman works directly with you.

  3. 03

    Design together

Review the digital design and shade map, and approve every detail before production begins.

  4. 04

    Evaluate the mock-up

Physical mock-ups let you and your patient see and feel the result.

  5. 05

    Finish and deliver

Final layering and characterization by hand, then delivery to your practice.

Facial aesthetic design

Designed for the face it belongs to.

You know your patient best. We help you create restorations in harmony with the whole face, following your direction on proportions, lip support, tooth position, expression and movement, so each result feels individual and natural.

Digital planning and sketching help us share ideas with you early. Physical mock-ups then let you and your patient evaluate the result in the real world before you approve the final design.

The atelier

Precision and artistry,
in every case.

Main Line Dental Lab works as an independent ceramic atelier for the practices it serves. Technology provides the precision, our master craftsmen provide the individuality, and you stay in charge of every case.

Posterior

Built for the bite.

For grinders, clenchers and athletes, we can mill posterior restorations for structural durability, then layer or characterize porcelain to keep them natural.

Anterior

Crafted for the smile.

Front teeth receive our most detailed hand-layering: translucency, surface texture, light reflection, natural irregularity and the subtle character of natural enamel.
